• March Madness – Certain Chaos – Day Six!!

Hullo, hullo! 🙂 It’s Day 6 of #marchmadness and I’m STILL not on par, but at least I’m writing. That’s all that matters at the moment. 🙂 I will get there eventually. I will, I will! The prompt for today was — minivan — and at first I had no idea how I was going to incorporate it. Was Loren going to have his headquarters inside an old broken-down minivan? Maybe his compound was surrounded by the vehicles. Maybe a near-dying Henry would wake up inside of one, somehow. Or maybe… it was all a dream. If all else fails! 😉 Anywho. Today’s Wordcount: 1604 Total Wordcount: 9177 And onward…

  • March Madness – Certain Chaos – Day Five!!

Hullo Mad Readers! 🙂 It’s Day 5 of #marchmadness, the prompt for today was — sound — and considering where I left off yesterday, there was plenty of opportunity to utilise such a prompt. 😀 Unfortunately, I had no idea where to go with the plot; my brain is at a loss… so, I’m eagerly awaiting tomorrow’s prompt to see how I’ll finish this little encounter off and get on with the story. Or if I can switch to say, Loren’s perspective for a moment and just ignore this trio for now, haha! Will work it out. 🙂 Today’s Wordcount: 1493 Total Wordcount: 7573 (still not on par!)   Liquid…

  • March Madness – Certain Chaos – Day Four!!

Hullo my Mad Steemian Friends! 🙂 It’s Day 4 of #marchmadness and today I not only wrote while I was actually awake, but I wrote almost 2000 words – yay! I needed 2350 to get on par, but I’m happy with what I did (even though I’m writing largely nonsense). By the end of the week I should be right on track… only to fall off the track when the weekend raises it’s tiring head. xD (just realised the end of the month is on a weekend too, aaarrrghh!) Anywho, the prompt for today was — meat and gravy — and, here it is! Oh man, I have time to…

  • March Madness – Certain Chaos – Day Three!!

Hullo! 🙂 It’s Day 3 of the newfound madness –the #marchmadness!!– anddddd… I’m surprised I wrote even this much tonight. I’m half asleep and still not on par, but at least I’m writing after a month of practically nothing. Hoping to reach the appropriate goal tomorrow when it’s no longer a weekend and I have a few hours to myself. Fingers crossed! The prompt for today was — log — and, let the rambling nonsensical mess begin! Think this day’s writing “finished” Chapter One, haha! XD (for the most part. It’s not a proper end, I know; heck, it’s not even a proper story. My writing is all up in…

  • March Madness – Certain Chaos – Day Two!!

Hullo!! 😀 It’s Day 2 of the #marchmadness, hosted by the @freewritehouse, and the writing I’m about to share was created within an hour of zoom-writing. My son went to bed, I waited for his snores to sound, then I let my typing fingers fly free in a flurry of semi-freewrite! I had absolutely no time today, and I expect the same tomorrow. Weekends have become crazy. Ack! (Who decided that March should begin riiiight on a weekend this year? Seriously. 😉 ) Also, I made an error because I live in the future. I should’ve just stuck with the — grass — prompt yesterday instead of trying to utilise…

  • March Madness – Certain Chaos – Day One!!

Hullo, hullo! Welcome to Day One of #marchmadness! Don’t know what that is? Allow me to direct you to THIS POST by the @freewritehouse 🙂 (or if you don’t want to click: it is essentially NaNoWriMo but in March and using the daily #freewrite prompt) I began this with today’s freewrite prompt in mind — grass — but then GinaBOT sent me a notification! The First March Madness prompt had been posted at the @freewritehouse, and it was — in the club. I had some changing up to do! But you’ll find both prompts in the story. It was a bit hard to get into the spirit of writing today.…
